South Bloomington Street Fire Extinguished Quickly

STREATOR – A fire Monday evening in the living room of a home was extinguished quickly by the Streator Fire Department. A call a little after 8 PM to the 1100 block of South Bloomington Street for a fire in a single family home had 13 firefighters respond to the scene. The fire was brought under control in just ten minutes. The three residents escaped harm and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
