PRINCETON – The Princeton City Council issued a permit to a group to construct an outdoor sports complex in the city Monday night. The proposed outdoor multi-sports complex would be built at Logistics Park on 29 acres, according to Mayor Joel Quiram. It would be designed to host tournaments over approximately 36 weeks of the year for traveling baseball teams. During construction there will be approximately 60 to 100 jobs. Once complete there will be approximately 6 full time and 20 to 30 seasonal employees. Projections include bringing upwards of 120,000 people to Princeton a year, while stimulating our local economy with an additional $5.2 million annually.
