LASALLE- LaSalle-Peru High School announced the hire of a new band director. During the Board meeting Thursday it was announced they chose Paula Tuttle to take over the role. Tuttle holds both a bachelors and masters degree in music education from Illinois State University and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Tuttle served as the band director at Somonauk Community Unit School District where she taught high school and junior high band classes, as well as direct the marching and pep band since 2013. Prior to that, she was the assistant band director at Oswego Community Unit School District. Band camp announcements for this summer are soon to follow.
