Armed Robbery Tuesday in Streator

STREATOR – Two men allegedly wore masks and displayed a gun during a robbery of a business on Tuesday night in Streator. Streator Police say that around 7:30 p.m. they were called to the 400 block of North Bloomington Street for an armed robbery. Officers say that two men wearing dark colored clothing reportedly displayed a gun and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The suspects then fled south on foot from the location. No arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Streator Police Department.
