LASALLE – Minor injuries were reported in a crash involving a LaSalle Police Department vehicle on Saturday. According to the Illinois State Police an SUV was traveling north on Crosat Street and failed to stop at the stop sign located on Third Street, reportedly entering the path of a LaSalle Police interceptor, when the vehicles collided. The LaSalle Police officer was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the SUV refused treatment at the scene and was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
