Temporary visitors restriction for IVCH

PERU – Illinois Valley Community Hospital is implementing a temporary visitor restriction effective immediately. The recommendation stems from the Illinois Department of Public Health in response to state influenza activity level, which is currently widespread. IVCH is restricting visitors to only those over the age of 18 years. Patients are asked to have no more than two visitors at any given time. The hospital believes this will help to control the spread of illness among patients and staff.
