STREATOR – The Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council is supporting Vactor Manufacturing through an incentives program. The council approved a $120,000 grant to Vactor Manufacturing through an economic incentives program in recognition of the nearly 90 jobs they will be creating. According to Executive Director Adam Dontz, the program applies to companies that hire a minimum of 10 people through the course of a year with a wage and benefit package. Dontz says Livingston County has nearly 2 million dollars in their budget this year for economic development. The council will seek approval of Vactor’s grant before the Livingston County Board, April 11th.
