Peru School Conducts Safety Drill

PERU – Parkside Elementary in Peru will be participating in a drill with the Peru Police Department Wednesday.  Superintendent Mark Cross announced that the yearly drill will help ensure the safety of students in the event of an emergency.  The police will be working with staff to train for a number of situations, including a “Code Red” of an intruder or other dangerous situation.
