PERU – The Illinois River crest has moved to Henry, according to the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. Mayor Scott Harl says as of Sunday morning, the river has fallen upstream of Peru. The current forecast is up to 1.5 inches of rain today, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Flood warnings continue for multiple counties throughout North Central Illinois. As of this morning the stage was at 29.4 feet.
