AURORA – A Kane County woman was arrested and her husband injured with a knife in an incident that police say involved her setting fire to his clothes. In the early morning hours of Sunday, Aurora Police were called to a residence on North Kendall Street where they discovered heavy smoke coming from the home and a fire in the bedroom. The husband stated there was an argument during which his wife allegedly held a knife against his throat before setting his clothes on fire. Aurora Police located and arrested 35-year-old Rosanda Taylor and charged her with Felony Aggravated Arson. Authorities say the husband had a small cut on his hand and the children in the home escaped injury. Taylor is being held at the Kane County Jail on $100,000 bond.
