SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley’s Police Department is requesting more full-time officers. After the resignations of two officers this year, Police Chief Kevin Sangston says he is looking to fill their places with full time positions. Sangston says with an ongoing homicide investigation and demands of the department increasing yearly, he needs a total of 11 officers on the team. The council agreed to recruit one new officer.
