AMBOY – Amboy Police Chief Jeffery Blake announced his retirement Friday. In a letter to the community he thanked the numerous people he has worked with over the years in the Lee County community. The Amboy High School Graduate joined the Amboy Police Department in 1992. He was appointed Chief in 2015. Blake’s future plans include relocating to Nevada.
