OTTAWA – A Lockport man has been charged for burglary at a business in Ottawa on Friday night. According to the Ottawa Police Department, on Saturday morning they were called to a business located in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street for currency as well as other items reportedly taken during overnight hours. After investigations, police developed 47-year-old Myron T. Lesley as a suspect. According to authorities property from the burglary was recovered at multiple locations within the city of Ottawa. He was taken into custody pending a felony investigation shortly after. Lesley was charged with one count of burglary, a class 2 felony and transported to the LaSalle County Jail.
