CHICAGO – Severe weather is expected to touch down in local area counties by tomorrow morning. According to National Weather Service meteorologist Tim Gross, A thunderstorm complex is expected to move out of central Iowa and into north central Illinois. Counties like Bureau, LaSalle and Putnam are likely to see rain and strong to severe thunderstorm by 7 a.m. Primary threats will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, heavy rainfall and large hail until 10 a.m. By Tuesday, conditions will be dry with clearing skies by the evening.
