Peru PD’s, Car Seat Safety Check, a success over the weekend

PERU – 46 child car seats were inspected at Peru’s Hyvee as part of National Car Seat Safety Week on Saturday. According to the Peru Police Department, only four car seats were found to be installed correctly, and two seats were replaced due to expiration. Deputy Chief Pyszka says the event was extremely successful, with 46 more children riding safely in their vehicles.
