LASALLE – Community members of LaSalle-Peru High School are pitching in to make the “Field of Dreams” a reality. At Wednesday’s Buildings and Ground Committee Superintendent Steven Wroblewski announced that so far, the board has raised $70,000 through donations from groups associated with the high school for the Howard Fellows football stadium renovations. Wroblewski is confident that that the board could reach $300,000 in sponsorship by the end of the year. The board is looking to meet with the city regarding their plans, next week.
