MARK – A tractor-trailer hauling grain overturned Monday morning after a crash but no serious injures were reported. According to the Illinois State Police around 7 AM they were called to Illinois Route 71 at Mennie Lane in Mark for a two vehicle collision between a car driven by a 32-year-old Ladd man and a tractor trailer driven by a 60-year-old Lostant man. The tractor trailer overturned, spilling corn onto the roadway and blocking the road for two hours. The driver of the car received minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. A passenger in the vehicle and the driver of the tractor trailer refused treatment at the scene. The crash is still under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
