OTTAWA – A Flood warning remains in effect for the Illinois River until further notice, and more rain is headed our way. On Friday, the area was hit heavy with rain, hail and severe thunderstorms leaving folks with flooded basements. According to weatherology Meteorologist Ray Miller, although rain fall is expected to start back up again on Tuesday through Thursday it won’t be as heavy.
There will still be some concern for flooding adding more rainfall into the mix. Miller says he’s forecasting up to an inch and half by Thursday, but most areas should see less than that.
