Boil order for parts of Peru

 
PERU – As a precautionary measure, the city of Peru is asking residents from Peoria Street south of Route 6 and west to the city limits, to place themselves under a boil order. This is only if residents are experiencing no water pressure. If you are a resident that experiences rusty like water, try to run the cold water for a few minutes.The boil order remains in effect until water quality tests confirm the water meets safe drinking standards.
