Negotiation meeting confirmed for Mendota teachers and Dist. 289

 
MENDOTA – A negotiation meeting is confirmed between District 289 and the Mendota teacher’s union. Talks will recommence on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to settle the labor dispute. Teachers walked off the job on Wednesday at Blackstone, Lincoln and Northbrook Schools after hopes of an agreement fell apart late Tuesday. The negotiations were working toward a new three year contract to replace the expired contract.
