DIXON – A Dixon woman has died after a crash Friday in rural Lee County. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office say that around 2 PM a two vehicle collision on Lowell Park Road near Timber Creek Road sent 84-year-old Jerle Barton to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The other driver involved, a 37-year-old Dixon woman, was not injured. The crash is still under investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
