GRAND RIDGE – A nine-year-old girl from the Grand Ridge area baked over 3,000 cookies to support children in Uganda. Kieran Black’s goal was to raise $100 towards her church’s mission for children in Uganda by baking cookies from scratch, and with the unexpected out pour of support she received, her production increased tenfold. Her mom Megan Black says within minutes of the announcement of the fundraiser, a dozen orders came in. That dozen, turned into hundreds of orders and Kieran says she’s still accepting more to raise funds for another cause of her choice.
