Water Street Substation Replacement Considered in Peru

PERU – After 40 to 50 years, the Peru City Council has set plans in motion for the replacement of the Water Street Substation. The council authorized the Mayor and City Clerk’s plans to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with BHMG Engineering at their Tuesday night meeting. These plans will first involve a study on whether to move or simply redo the original Substation, but the cost will not exceed $29,500.
