Stabbing Incident Injures Two in Mendota

MENDOTA – A Sunday evening incident involving a knife and two men allegedly being stabbed sent one man to the hospital in Mendota. The Mendota Police Department say they were called to OSF Saint Paul Medical Center and discovered one subject with a stab wound. After an investigation, another man was located who had been stabbed. Police say the incident occurred in the 500 block of 6th Street. They say the matter is still under investigation but that there is no immediate threat to the public.
