Pettiness to an Extreme Level

I’ll start off by saying I’m really not a petty person and I would never do what this guy did… EVER!
This 55 year old business man has been in a long court battle with his ex-wife over child and spousal support.  He told a judge that he recently sold some properties and a business and made about $1 Million.  He said he then took that money and set it on fire so his ex didn’t get any of it.  That’s some expensive and extreme level pettiness.  The bad thing is it also effects his children, but if he can light a million dollars on fire I’m sure he has some stuff set aside for his kids.
The problem he is running into is the judge didn’t believe he would light that much money on fire.  So he was sentenced to 30 days in jail to “Re-think” what happened to the money.  On top of that he has to pay his ex $2,000 every day he is in jail.  Rough for his sake hopefully he didn’t really light the money on fire.
