Artist makes amazing images just by folding/creasing paper!

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for February 18th:
Every now and then for my “Daily Dose of Uplift,” I try to find a story that piques your interest or shows off some creative ideas people are sharing. This one is something entirely unique…
German artist Simon Schubert creates immaculately detailed images of stately homes and palaces just by gently folding pieces of paper in the right spots. The folds do their part to work with lighting to bring out intricacies within each piece.
If only it were as easy at it looks…I can’t fathom the time and precision necessary. If anyone could do it, however, it’d probably be as possible as stress-relieving coloring books and the walls of people’s homes would be lined with paper and napkins. Nothing wrong with that, of course.
