Mustard on Oreos? That’s the answer to a crossword puzzle!

The answer to a the crossword puzzle in a recent issue of USA Today has left readers and the internet baffled. The clue read “Cookie that some people ate with mustard,” and it was revealed that “Oreo” was the answer to “10 down” in the puzzle…
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say no one has ever even had the thought to put mustard on Oreos. The very thought makes me wince. It might actually be more pleasant to brush your teeth THEN feast on Oreos, but I wouldn’t recommend either.
