Road work included in Streator’s 5-year plan begins this year

STREATOR – Road work on East 1st, Colorado, Elm and Wilson Streets are the first in line to be repaired in Streator. City Engineer Jeremy Palm says the general revenue construction project for East 1st street, South Colorado, East Elm and East Wilson will cost the city just over $340,000. This is the first general revenue component of the five year road plan. The 100 through 500 blocks of Spring Street is next on the list. Motor-Fuel Tax funded projects for 2020 include River Avenue, West Wilson Street, Fuller Avenue, East Bronson and South Everett Street.
