Trial set in April for LaSalle man accused of suffocating infant son

 
OTTAWA – A LaSalle man accused of smothering his infant son will stand trial in April. 24-year-old Kenneth Herbst is charged with first-degree murder for the spring 2019 incident in LaSalle where he allegedly suffocated his 2-month-old son. Judge Chris Ryan set trial for April 20th at the LaSalle County Courthouse.
