PERU – Construction will begin Monday on I-80 in LaSalle County to replace bridges. The Illinois Department of Transportation said that the deck and beams of the bridges that carry the interstate over the Little Vermilion River, Raccuglia Drive and East 3rd Road will be repaired or replaced. Motorists should expect lane closures between Illinois 251 and the I-39 interchange. All ramps to LaSalle via Illinois 351 will remain open.
