Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for May 14th:
Hita Gupta, 15, has been a regular visitor to local nursing homes in her homestate of Pennsylvania. She’s been heartbroken about not being able to visit in lieu of the pandemic, so she took it upon herself to craft handwritten notes and purchase puzzles to let seniors know they’re being thought of during this time.
She tapped her nine-year-old brother to help write the notes as well!
“The seniors aren’t able to see their families, so that’s causing loneliness, boredom and anxiety,” she said.
There’s kindness in the hearts of countless teens out there and when they channel it, amazing things often happen!
