A Wenona man had died after a two vehicle crash near Route 18, officials report. Authorities say around 6:24 Wednesday morning, a vehicle driven by 37-year-old James Toliver of Chillicothe was traveling eastbound on Route 18 when another vehicle was traveling northbound on Meridian Road, approaching Route 18, and entered the intersection. The front end of Toliver’s vehicle struck the driver’s side of the second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle succumbed to his injuries, although Toliver did not sustain any injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
