CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Public Health Monday announced the lowest number of daily deaths since March for the state. Health Officials Monday say 23 additional people have died in the state, with all but 3 in the Chicagoland area. The state also reports an additional 974 new cases tested positive for the virus. Locally, the LaSalle County Health Department reported on Monday no additional new cases.
