OTTAWA – Four new cases of COVID-19 were announced in LaSalle County on Sunday. That brings the total since the pandemic began to 164 confirmed positive tests. The newly infected include two men and two women, aging in range from their teens to their fifties. Tracing protocols are in place and officials are looking for anyone who many have been in contact with those who tested positive. In the area, Marseilles still has the most reported cases, at 40. Of those who have previously tested positive, 94 are considered recovered from the disease and there have been sixteen COVID-19 related deaths in LaSalle County.
