IDPH announces 7th straight day of COVID death toll under 100

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 766 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state on Thursday, including 91 additional deaths. It’s been one week since the IDPH last announced a daily death toll over 100. There’ve now been a total of 130,603 total cases, including 6,185 deaths since the pandemic began in 101 counties of Illinois.
