OTTAWA – An Ottawa woman is being held on a million dollars bond after being arrested on drug charges. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Team say they took 21-year-old Claudia D. Smith into custody and charged her with one count of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Heroin/Fentanyl on Wednesday. Authorities say Smith allegedly delivered less that one gram of heroin/fentanyl to TRIDENT during an investigation. She is currently being held at the LaSalle County Jail.
