SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 473 new cases of COVID-19 in the state on Monday. This is the lowest number of daily confirmed cases since March 29th. With this, they also announced 19 additional deaths from complications related to the coronavirus, all of which were in Cook County. The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity rate for cases from June 8th through the 14th is 3%.
