Mendota District 289 waives fees for 2020-2021 school year

MENDOTA – Mendota District 289, which covers elementary and middle school education in the city, has announced they are waiving all fees for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. In the announcement made on Friday, the district will not be collecting registration, technology or activity fees due to the financial hardships endured in the community during the pandemic crisis. Any family that has already paid for the upcoming year will be receiving a refund in the coming weeks. This comes after the mid-June announcement that Mendota High School will also be waiving all fees.
