SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health on Sunday said over 1400 new cases of the coronavirus were reported and 14 new deaths. The department also reported that statewide, 1400 Covid-19 patients were in the hospital, with 339 in the ICU and 125 on ventilators. This makes the 12th consecutive day of 1,000 daily cases or more, the most consecutive 1000 or more daily cases since Illinois since May.
