OGLESBY – The Illinois Valley Community College Career and Technical Education courses will be meeting in small groups when classes resume.
Automotive classes will be offered both online and in-person this fall.
Many CTE programs such as industrial maintenance, Emergency Medical Services and electronics will meet face-to-face and online when fall classes begin Friday, Aug. 14.
“Individuals interested in learning a new skill or changing careers through one of our technical programs can be assured that many of our courses will still be meeting safely in small groups,” said Dean of Workforce Development Shane Lange.
CTE programs include cybersecurity, business technology, welding, dental assisting, CAD, electronics, computer networking, manufacturing, HVAC, industrial maintenance, automotive technology, electricity, electronics, EMS and therapeutic massage, among others.
