PONTIAC – Four more residents of Livingston County have tested positive for COVID-19. Since the pandemic began three have died and one remains in the hospital recovering from their infection. Thursday the Livingston County Health Department shared how they will be helping enforce the mask mandate through education, written warnings, and possibly fines. They say it is imperative that community members and local businesses consistently take action to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in order to avoid increases in virus transmission across the county. This includes, among other measures, wearing a mask securely around the mouth, nose and chin when in public, as well as avoiding large gatherings and washing hands
often.
