PRINCETON – Bureau County has been moved to the orange level for COVID-19 by the Illinois Department of Public Health. They received the alert for having higher than recommended new cases in the last 7 days and a 14.2% positivity rate of all tests performed. The Bureau County Health Department announced Covid-19 drive-up testing will be offered for free at 204 Pleasant St. in DePue from 9 AM – 1 PM on Tuesday. Sunday two new coronavirus cases were announced, bringing the total to 377 since the pandemic began.
