PRINCETON – A strong cold front will move through the area Friday afternoon and evening and with it the potential for severe weather. The National Weather Service predicts that if heat builds through the day, we could see damaging winds, large hail, and possibly even tornadoes, especially in and around northwest Illinois. The front is expected to move through by midnight, and bringing with it a reprieve from high temperatures over the last few days into the 90’s.
