DEPUE – A home that formerly was known as Rose Hill Manor was destroyed Saturday in DePue. Around 4 PM a mutual aid box alarm went out to many area departments to battle the blaze in the 1100 block of Rosehill Road. The residents of the home escaped the growing fire which started on the west side of the structure. According to DePue Assistant Fire Chief Joseph Vasquez no injuries were reported and departments stayed on scene for about three hours. The Red Cross was called to attend to the needs of the displaced and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
