SENECA – A Livingston County man is dead after a motorcycle crash near Seneca around 9 PM Saturday. According to authorities, 52-year-old John Martinez of Pontiac was traveling south on East 29th when for unknown reasons he left the roadway on the north hill in the curves, coming to rest in the ravine after being ejected from the bike. He was taken by Seneca EMS to Morris Hospital, where the Grundy County Coroner said he died early Sunday. The death remains under investigation by the Coroner’s office and the Seneca Police Department.
