Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for September 23rd:
Two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka was facing Daria Kasatkina in the Italian Open 2020 when Kasatkina took a brutal fall and injured her ankle in the first set.
Azarenka acted quickly to help Kasatkina get her shoe off and apply ice to her swollen ankle. Kasatkina was obviously beside herself.
Azarenka grabbed a towel and wiped dirt and sweat off her opponent before putting an arm around her and kissed her on the forehead.
As a sports fan, I love to see sportsmanship at any level, and this moment has gone viral for all the right reasons. Highly recommend you check it out!
