Multiple burglaries reported in Streator

 
STREATOR – A number of burglaries and attempted burglaries were reported in Streator.  Authorities announced two businesses say they had items stolen in the 1200 block of West Main Street and the 700 block of James Street over the last few days.  Also, a business on Benchmark Industrial Drive in Streator say that a chain link fence surrounding the property was cut, but no items appeared to have been taken.   A resident reported a bicycle was taken in the 700 block of East Bridge Street sometime over the weekend.  All of these incidents are currently under investigation by the Streator Police Department.
