OTTAWA – A Lockport woman is dead after a single vehicle crash in LaSalle County on Saturday afternoon. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office say that around 2 PM they were called to N2650th Road near 1529th Road where a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Katherine Farrahi reportedly left the roadway, struck a utility pole and rolled several times before striking a second utility pole. Farrahi was transported to an Ottawa hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The crash is still under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office.
