PONTIAC – The Livingston County Health Department on Thursday announced that 44 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19. Since the pandemic began there have been 12 COVID-19 related deaths in the county. Currently, the health department reports 160 active cases, with six being hospitalized battling the novel coronavirus. The LaSalle County Health Department announced that a temporary free drive-through COVID-19 testing event will be coming to Streator this coming weekend. They will be set up at Streator City Park on the Hickory Street side of the park from 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday and Sunday.
