SPRING VALLEY – An early morning crash took the life of a Spring Valley man Saturday. According to the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, around 12:30 AM they were called to the 1300 block of North Ave in Spring Valley for a single vehicle crash. Authorities found an SUV unoccupied in a ditch. Officers and witnesses located 25-year-old Grant T. Yerly of Spring Valley near the scene, however he was pronounced deceased by the Bureau County Coroner.
